Wadi Degla
Wadi Delga is a canyon located 20 km southeast of Cairo, and it’s considered one of the best places to trail run in Egypt. As a natural reserve, Wadi Delga features a valley stretching from east to west with a total of 30 km. The trail in the valley is accessible for hikers and trail runners.
St. Katherine
St. Katherine is a biblical city in South Sinai—located at the foot of the mountain. The area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002. The main tourist attractions of the city are Saint Catherine’s Monastery and Mount Sinai, but there are also beginner-friendly and challenging trails for hikers and trail runners surrounding the area.
