Participant Information
This cleanup event will take place on the 22nd of February 2025 and will be a 5km clean-up walk. The event will start at 10:00 am and end at 12:00 pm. The event welcomes participants from all ages and is family-friendly. Participants will be provided with gloves and trash bags to collect waste from the first 2.5 km of the wadi, and then they will walk back to the main gate. Once participants are done, they will get to play fun games for participation prizes.
All revenue from this event will be used in the development of Wadi Degla Protectorate facilities.

Please be aware that a trail running race will be happening at the same time as the cleanup event, so please be mindful and allow space on the trail for runners to pass.

Wadi Degla Clean-up invites you to explore the stunning and varied landscapes of the Wadi Degla Protectorate while championing conservation and sustainable outdoor activities.
Start time
The Clean-up race will commence at 9 AM and end by 12 PM.
Cut-off time
Participants are allotted 3 hours to complete the course.
