Wadi Degla Trail allows you to explore the beautiful and diverse landscapes of the Wadi Degla Protectorate while promoting conservation and sustainable outdoor sports. The event features three exciting distances. The 10km distance will be suitable for beginners who want to try trail running for the first time, the 30km is a new distance we are introducing in this event which will be more challenging, and finally our classic 50km race which offers an exciting adventure for more experienced runners.Race details

- 10KM Race: 7:00 am
- 30KM Race: 6:00 am
- 50KM Race: 6:00 am
Cut-off Time
- 10KM: 2 hours
- 30KM: 6 hours
- 50KM: 10 hours
The 30KM and 50KM races will start together at 6:00 am. The 30KM race will end at 12:00 pm, and the 50KM race will end at 4:00 pm. Participants are required to complete the 50KM race within 10 hours, and the 30KM race should be completed within 6 hours.
Check Points
Checkpoints (CPs) will be available along each race route to support the runners and to provide water. The 50KM race will have 7 checkpoints, while the 30KM will have 3. All participants must enter each checkpoint. It’s at these checkpoints that Ultra Ibex will be made aware of any runner who needs help or assistance during the Wadi Delga Trail series.

- 10KM Race: +150M
- 30KM Race: +500M
- 50KM Race: +850M
The elevation gain for all races is suitable for people of most ages who have a good fitness level and are in a good health condition.
Location
Wadi Degla Trail winter edition 2024 takes place at Wadi Degla Protectorate. Runners will access the race venue and race start through the Wadi Degla Protectorate Main Gate in Zahraa El Maadi. This is the exact location of the gate.
Terrain
Complementing the difficulty of the elevation, Wadi Degla Trail’s terrain features 70% hard dirt trails and 30% sandy and rocky areas. The uneven terrain will present exciting challenges with a versatile trail running competition for all.
